Apple Clips. The hidden gem.

With so many video editing apps available for iPhone, it can be hard to know which one to choose. But if you haven’t tried Apple Clips yet, you’re missing out on a hidden gem.

What’s so great about Apple Clips? For one thing, it’s completely free and comes pre-installed on your iPhone. That means you don’t have to pay any additional subscription fees to use it. And despite being a part of iOS, it’s incredibly easy to use, with a low learning curve that makes it accessible to anyone.

The real magic of Apple Clips is in its features. It has a ton of effects that you can use to make your videos stand out, including filters, stickers, and animated text. And perhaps the most impressive feature is live video transcription, which can automatically create subtitles for your videos in real-time.

Of course, no app is perfect, and Apple Clips is no exception. There are some basic video editing features that are missing, such as the ability to crop or adjust the speed of your videos. And while the effects are impressive, they’re not quite as extensive as what you might find in other apps like Instagram.

Another limitation is that the app only lets you choose between having background music or no music at all. It would be great if you could scrub the audio track alongside the video tracks and place it where you want it.

Finally, while Apple Clips can generate subtitles for videos that you record within the app, it currently doesn’t support subtitles for videos that you’ve recorded outside of the app.

All in all, though, Apple Clips is a fantastic option for anyone looking to create engaging videos on their iPhone. And best of all, it’s completely free and already on your phone, so there’s no reason not to give it a try.
